The Process

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.

    Whether you find something in my shop that you love, or want a completely custom order, I have a very simple and convenient process. If you have any questions not answered here, please contact me!

    THE PROCESS

    1. Contact Me. {I’m Liz}, or subit your order directly from this site.  Every order is different, so I will correspond with you via email to generate all of the necessary details to get your project underway. A non-refundable deposit will be due before your proofs are generated.

    2.. View Electronic Proofs. I will send an electronic proof via email in 5-7 business days.

    3. Payment. PayPal is the preferred and default form of payment. Once the order is ready for print, I will send you an invoice. You do not have to have a PayPal account to complete the transaction.

    4. Print. Please allow the appropriate time for processing from the
    date of purchase. Be sure to contact me with an appropriate amount of time to complete the process. I will not rush or hurry without a fee.

    *Rush orders can be taken at a 25% cost increase. Out in 5 bizz days from time of final payment. Only when my schedule allows.
    *Hurry orders can be taken at a 15% cost increase. Out in 10 bizz days from time of final payment. Only when my schedule allows.

    OTHER STUFF I THINK IS IMPORTANT...

    1. Timeframes + Turnaround. Most importantly, it is imperative that you contact me early enough to fill your order in a comfortable timeframe. You should allow 5-7 weeks from start to finish. I often am unable to take rush or hurry orders because I work with multiple clients. My timeframes are something that I rarely have the ability to be flexible with. Here are examples for each:

    INVITATIONS {5-7 weeks}
    *Proofs - 5-7 business days from the time of DEPOSIT payment.
    *Edits - varies depending on amount of edits/changes necessary.
    *Production - 4 weeks from the time of FINAL payment.
    *Shipping - 2-3 business days in US. 6-10 business days internationally.

    CALLIGRAPHY {varies; but quick turnaround}
    *Proofs - 5-7 business days from submission of order.
    *Edits - varies depending on amount of edits/changes necessary.
    *Production - 5 business days from the time I receive payment or envelopes;
    whichever arrives last.
    *Shipping - 2-3 business days. 6-10 business days internationally.

    SAMPLES {5-7 bizz days}
    *Printed + shipped in 5-7 business days.

    SAVE THE DATES {3-4 weeks}
    *Proofs - 5-7 business days from the time of DEPOSIT payment.
    *Edits - varies depending on amount of edits/changes necessary.
    *Production - 10 business days from the time of FINAL payment
    *Shipping - 2-3 business days in US. 6-10 business days internationally.

    PRINTABLES {2 weeks}
    *Proofs - 5-7 business days from the time of DEPOSIT payment.
    *Edits - varies depending on amount of edits/changes necessary
    *Production - Immediate delivery
    *Shipping - Immediate delivery

    Inquire about timeframes for any other items like placecards, menus, programs, table numbers, etc...

    2. Proofreading. Please take time to proof, proof and proof again to be certain that all of your information is accurate. I highly suggest taking time to read it. I try my hardest to avoid spelling errors, but I'm only human.....and think you are too! Let's work together to ensure all of the info is correct and that I've spelled your future mom-in-laws name right to avoid having to delay an order by reprinting.....or an angry mom-in-law!

    3. Color. This one is easy! Order a sample. It's the best way to see what you're going to get. In every sample, I include a color palette.

    4. Order enough. Be sure to order enough invitations. When an order is placed, I only order enough materials to fill the order. If you realize afterwards that you need 5, 10 or 15 more, I may not have enough materials in stock to turn it around in the timeframe you need.
    PaymentPayPal is the preferred and default form of payment. A deposit will be due before your proofs are created.

    SALES TAX
    If you are a resident of Virginia, you will be charged sales tax accordingly.

    Deposits are non-refundable.


    SHIPPING
    I ship USPS Priority. I can overnight at your request. Yes! I ship internationally...and it doesn’t cost you and arm and a leg.

    All packages are tracked. Insurance can be purchased but at your request.

    {I hate this part} BUT once I hand your package over to the postal service, I have no control over it and it is no longer my responsibility. All packages are handled, packaged and addressed with care to ensure that I've done everything I can to avoid any delays.


    Refunds and Exchanges
    Due to the nature of the business, personalized stationery cannot be refunded or exchanged. If there is a mistake on my end, I will replace your order free of charge. It is your responsibility to ensure that all text, grammar, dates and names are all correct.

    AND, FINALLY....
    Most importantly, once payment is made, NO CHANGES can be made to the product as it will have already gone to print.


    Working Hours
    Mon-Friday all day. I may respond to convos on Saturday and Sunday, but will likely get back to you again on Monday.
